Dad & Daughter : Day walk to Sealers Cove, Wilsons Promontory (Jan 2017)

Best day walk on the Prom. Mt Oberon to Sealer Cove and back.

Another delightful day walk on our way to Melbourne. Starting from the car park below Mt Oberon and following the great track to Sealers Cove.

**There were big landslides from heavy rain and flood in 2011 and it has taken time to repair and reopen the tracks.**

The track passes through three distinct terrains: Forest on the western side (Tidal Inlet) up to the summit ridge; then rainforest gullies on the steep descent and a kilometer or so of board walked swamp behind the beach at Sealers Cove. Makes for a great and varied walk.
