Charlotte Pass return loop via Main range and Kosciusko

On our way to Melbourne we spent a January day walking the main range Kosi circuit. A windy and overcast day, meant it was cool and we were lucky no rain.

The return road walk to Charlottes’ passes Seamans hut (a winter refuge).
and crosses the Snowy again.

This is a good day walk taking in some key sights of the main range and visiting the top of Kosciusko.  The track from Charlottes Pass over the Snowy and up onto the main range is very good, clear and now has extensive rock armoring. The road walk back to Charlottes Pass after Kosciusko is a little uninteresting and we reached the end a little footsore.  Great day out together.
