I am a retired engineer and senior high tech development leader with an interest in outdoor activities. Whilst I used to do a lot of caving, canyoning, hard walking, backcountry skiing etc now its all a bit slower paced. Traveling, car touring, day walks, some longer trips, kayaking, mountain biking, sailing to explore and the like.
I live in Sydney, Australia with my wife. Our kids are grown, gone and busy, but its always very good to catch up with them, whether for an activity or just to hang out.
This is my personal website (self hosted). Its something to play with really, so changes now and again. I’m now experimenting with wordpress – this part of the site. Sometimes I neglect new content for quite a while. I write some things and then I don’t for a while. It is what it is, but welcome anyway.
